Postby wilster » 06 Nov 2014, 04:43

I had back up accounts but they were all in the same book they were yahoo and hot mails and some other things is then anyway I can get them back cause if I can't Im going to loose heaps of school stuff and other things. :((

To get them back depends on the site, if you can remeber the password for a main email, then you can possibly get reset codes sent there if you've set it up before hand.
Storing passwords on paper is a Really Bad Idea. I use lastpass to store all my passwords. That way I only have to remember one password.

i'm sorry to hear that - Will.

1. passwords for some not stored in your browser?

2. password retrieval is a way [Ciaran's advice]

3. i dunno how you manage your history or folders/files but a search through your settings & system can kick up unexpected shit at times

4. OK so what will do you in the future?

Something that might help that I've done...if you forgot a login and password, just go to the site and without thinking, enter a login id and a password. If you go about it right, not thinking about the fact that you don't have your password...just login, you'll just automatically login.

Hmm I might try that :-bd

I know I was bit silly putting them in all in the one book :-c

I got the book out of the wash and Im slowly trying to separate all the pages put them back together again like the would do on CSI :-/

As well as loosing them I got a massive lecture on why I shouldn't leave stuff in my pockets
